ACCORDING TO YOUR ABILITY

   

Do you know that, God gives to each person according to his ability? If God gives you a particular quantity to manage per time, it is a reflection of your capacity at that time. God will not allot to you a level of responsibilities that is not at par with your level of spiritual development or talents He has put inside of you.

More interesting is the fact that there is no one without a measure of talents. What makes the difference is the additional input you are willing to make by way of skill acquisition.

That implies that when you pray for promotion it means that God expects you to develop the capacity to manage that promotion or else you make it difficult for God to answer that prayer.

Friends, are you developing capacity? You have to develop capacity in all areas of your life. I like to talk about leadership and I believe strongly that one of the most important skills you should develop in life is your leadership ability.

My conclusion is that your destiny is tied to your leadership ability. John Maxwell says in The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership that the first law of leadership is ‘the law of the lid: You will never be more successful than your leadership ability will allow.’
